Jewish headstones used in the wall of the Archive of the Kingdom of Aragon

Opposite the Archive is the building, see below, that was used by the Inquisition.

Salomó ben Adret was the rabbi of the Major Synagogue.
The Historical Museum of Barcelona is the source of information about the Call.

This is outside the northern wall of the medieval Call. This square was used in one of the scenes in Woody Allen's Vicki Cristina Barcelona.

In Banys Nous St (New Baths) named so because it was the men's Mikvah prior to 1391.

This wall at the back of a dress shop is the Roman remains of a security tower that was joined to the outer wall of the city.
This is the emblem, below, of that tower.

Remains of the Roman city wall, now sporting the Catalan Independence flag.

This article is taken from the Vueling magazine I read on our flight from Barcelona to Seville. It's about the Roman columns we visited on this tour.
