HollowLog Farm, Daylesford on holiday

Tanya and Micah examining stones in the bush

Elderly roo in front garden of our Daylesford holiday farm ( I wish! - the rented one while the Queen has her vacation in ours).

Rescued sheep whose sole purpose is to survive and mow grass.

The Stoney, my cottage for the week.

The Cottage, where Tanya, Josh, Sammy and Micah reside.

Louis has discovered a toy he can grip with his Ewok short jaw.

              St Erth, Blackwood

       Morning with Micah at Muskvale

I recommend this humorous, moving autobiography by Etgar Keret. In vignettes only a few pages long he tells his personal story and, at the same time, that of Israel.

I read the chapter, entitled 'Idol Worship' about the author's high regard for his brother, out loud to Josh, Sammy and Micah and they loved it.

Feeding time for the rescued sheep who will not be eaten; the owners are vegetarians for compassionate reasons.

Josh rescues an ailing baby bat

      Any advice about baby bats?

                     On the farm

Sammy with a lizard at the sulphur spring

Panorama at the Mt Franklin Crater - at centre see baroque sculpture featuring Tanya, Sammy and Micah.

Climbing or descending? the volcano, Mt Franklin

             Paddling on Lake Daylesford
