LAKE OHRID
Lake Ohrid is 34klm long, 300m deep and three million years old. It's shared by Macedonia 2/3 and Albania 1/3. The lake is among Europe's deepest and oldest. Usually calm, during storms Ohrid seethes with steely-grey whitecaps evoking the sea.
